The ‘rarity’ of this wine lies in its exceptional nature. It is a unique wine made exclusively from “Tempranillo Peludo” grapes from the “Finca Cuesta Clara”. This low-yield variety has almost disappeared, but it gives rise to wines with powerful aromas, an elegant backbone and excellent quality.
The grapes are hand-picked and then carefully selected in the winery, followed by a long process of maceration and 26 months, ageing in medium-intense toasted Allier oak casks.
The colour is s a delightful, intense cherry-red with lively hues, leading into a generous aroma in which ripe fruit combines harmoniously with vanilla and liquorice notes. Magnificent structure with firm expressive tannins, followed by a long, stately finish.
